Registered voters in the following townships/cities will receive ballots by mail, as requested by the respective Township Boards/City Councils:

Voters in mail ballot precincts that did not receive a ballot by mail may vote by absentee ballot by contacting the Pennington County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office, Pennington County Government Center, 101 Main Ave N, Thief River Falls, MN 56701, 218-683-7000, or elections@penningtonmn.gov. Absentee voting is allowed for mail ballot precincts until 8:00 p.m. on November 3rd, 2026.
The Pennington County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office will be open for Absentee Voting on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday October 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday October 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday November 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and also until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2nd, 2026.
